The Origin

Correcting the conflict of interest in project management.

In 2013, multinational corporations operating in Bangladesh faced a structural dilemma: every “project manager” was either employed by a contractor with delivery incentives or an architect with design fees at stake. Neither could offer genuine fiduciary independence.

Khurshid Almeher founded Kaymonto & Partners to establish Bangladesh's first pure-play PMC firm — structured with zero financial interest in which contractor builds or which supplier provides materials.

Over 13 years, Kaymonto has delivered 75+ projects and 1.3M+ square feet across Bangladesh for clients including HSBC, Unilever, IFC World Bank Group, Chevron, and InterContinental Dhaka.

Khurshid Almeher

Khurshid Almeher brings 23+ years of architecture and capital project management experience across Tokyo and Dhaka. He holds a PhD in Architecture from the University of Tokyo (2005) and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP, 2009).

Before establishing Kaymonto in 2013, he spent over a decade in Tokyo delivering major fit-out and relocation programmes for Barclays Global Investors and Lehman Brothers, before returning to Dhaka to lead the PMO for a US$235M mixed-use development.

He has served as Management Delivery Partner (MDP) across the HSBC Bangladesh portfolio (US$30M+) and led Kaymonto to win PMO of the Year 2020 from the PMI Bangladesh Chapter.

We lock project scope, programme milestones, and fixed budget before any contractor is engaged. Ambiguity is eliminated before ground is broken.

Plan

Project Execution Plan (PEP), risk register, contractor procurement matrix, and site controls agreed as the binding governing charter.

Supervise

Resident engineers on site daily. Weekly progress and EHS reports. Variation claims scrutinized and certified against contract terms, not invoices.

Close

Defect rectification, bill reconciliation, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentation verified for the client.
